	  otherwise we use the cross-compiler tools for the local
	  build. Note than HOSTRANLIB was not set in older versions
	  of pkg so we still fallback to $RANLIB if unset.

	* cross-compile would still not work because glib-genmarshal
	  was built for the target arch. Now do_config() first builds
	  genmarshal for the build host, saves it and runs configure
	  for the target. This is quick enough and covers all cases.
